All of us here are proud to show you the best library of garden books in America. We are dedicated to publishing gardening books that are written for the specific area where each person lives who reads one of our books. Before Cool Springs began this publishing program in the mid-1990s, gardeners had to get their garden information from single volumes that tried to cover the entire country. We knew that was not the way gardeners wanted their information, so we set out to create a garden book for each state. Beginning with the Tennessee Gardener’s Guide in 1995, our publishing program now includes books written for specific areas from coast to coast.

An integral part of our publishing program is to partner with the leading garden communicator in each state to author our book for that particular state. It did not make sense to us to publish garden books for a state and have them written by someone from clear across the country. We wanted authors who lived, worked, and gardened in the area that they would be writing about. Over the years, we have met and surpassed our wildest expectations about the authors that we thought we could recruit. Our authors are the best garden writers in the country, and they communicate with America’s gardeners not only through our books, but also through their own TV shows, radio shows, newspaper columns, magazine articles, blogs, and websites. Together Cool Springs authors speak to over 20,000,000 American gardeners each week.

On this website you will be able to find each Cool Springs book that is applicable for where you live and garden. Simply click the map on the homepage of the site. When you do that, you will be directed to a state page where all the books written for your state are listed, along with the appropriate regional books and our national garden book collection. You can order the books you want online right from that page, or you can order by calling our toll-free customer service number.

If you are already a customer, thank you for your business! If you are new to Cool Springs...welcome!
